为女权发声!碧昂斯新歌呼吁关注全球女孩
Beyoncé released a new video for her Lemonade track, "Freedom," yesterday, in honor of International Day of the Girl. In it, girls from around the world lip-sync and dance to the song in the fiercest and strongest way possible (à la Queen Bey). As they perform, statistics on violence against girls and pleas for freedom pop up around them. "End all forms of violence against girls. Put all girls in school. End the AIDS epidemic. End child marriage," "Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom every day. Join them," a message at the end of the video says. "Today is #DayoftheGirl. Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom every day," Bey captioned the video on Facebook. "Join me, Chime for Change and The Global Goals by taking action for #FreedomforGirls now." The clip was done in partnership with Chime for Change, a campaign raising funds and awareness for women and girls around the globe, and The Global Goals, which tackles issues including poverty, hunger and education. The video is the latest of Beyoncé's charitable acts, following her remix of "MiGente," proceeds from which will be donated to hurricane and earthquake victims in Mexico, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands. |
