我国发布国家公园发展及管理总体方案
China released an overall plan on the development and management of national parks, which calls for the strictest measures to protect the country's natural beauty and pass it on to generations to come. By 2020, the country will finish pilot programs for establishing national parks, according to the plan. By 2030, the system will be further improved and the management more efficient. "This marks the completion of the top-level design of the national park system, and the beginning of the substantial construction," said Wang Yi, deputy head of the Institute of Science and Development at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The country has set up 10 pilot programs for the national park system, including the Sanjiangyuan, giant panda habitats and the Great Wall. These parks are expected to undergo assessments in the coming years and could be named national parks. |
