《神奇女侠2》推迟上映,据说是想寻求高票房?
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has announced an altered release date for the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984. The highly anticipated sequel to Wonder Woman was originally scheduled for release on November 1st 2019, however this has now changed. Gadot ecstatically reveals the new release date for June 5th 2020, casually brushing over the fact that it's being delayed by seven months. The change of release date most likely refers to the sheer amount of DC films lined up to release over the next two years and Warner Bros. decision to spread them further apart, especially when considering the fact Todd Phillips' Joker film is set to release on October 9th, 2019. As most will know, the DC Extended Universe has suffered a rocky road since Man of Steel released in 2013, and with Wonder Woman being the highest rated film in its franchise, it should be no surprise that Warner Bros. are playing it safe for the sequel. Helmed by director Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 will see Diane during the events of the Cold War, coming into conflict with the Soviet Union. |
