豆瓣8.0预定,香奈儿不为人知的一面拍成了纪录片
A Chanel documentary from the director of 'The First Monday in May' has come. Get ready to add another fashion movie to your Netflix queue. Netflix's new series "7 Days Out" will chronicle the French luxury house's Spring 2018 Haute Couture runway show. For those who are not on the same page with us yet, let’s give a brief introduction first. The House of Chanel is known for the "little black dress", the perfume No. 5 de Chanel, and the Chanel Suit. Chanel's use of jersey fabric produced garments that were comfortable and affordable. Chanel revolutionized fashion — high fashion and everyday fashion — by replacing structured-silhouettes, based upon the corset and the bodice, with garments that were functional and at the same time flattering to the woman's figure. The film, directed by Andrew Rossi of the Met Gala-focused film "The First Monday In May," follows Karl Lagerfeld and his atelier for an entire week as they prepare for Chanel's Spring 2018 Haute Couture show. Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the French luxury house's inner workings, from Lagerfeld's Paris-based studio to his go-to show venue of the Grand Palais. Though Lagerfeld has been the subject of documentaries before, as has Chanel Haute Couture, one can truly never have enough of learning what really goes on behind such a historic, $10-billion-dollar fashion company. |
