《唐顿庄园》制作人准备导演新剧!又是一部神剧?
Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes is working on a new period drama for ITV. Fellowes has been commissioned by the network to adapt his 2016 novel Belgravia, Deadline reported. Belgravia, which was originally published in a serialised format online, is set in London in the 1840s. Carnival Films, the same company that co-produced Downton Abbey, is producing the new show, according to Deadline. Downton Abbey originally aired on ITV between 2010 and 2015. Production on the new series is reportedly set to start in the coming months, and the show is slated for a six-part run. Fellowes described it as such in a previous interview with The Independent: ”You tune in and you see the real house, you meet the characters, and it says something like ‘Waterloo’ and you press Waterloo and you get ‘Waterloo was a battle fought on the 18 June 1815...’ Fellowes has also written the screenplay for the upcoming Downton Abbey film, set to be released in September 2019. |
