The Application for Establishment of a Riverside Development Zone Dandong has been received and the reply is as follows：

Your application has been approved for the establishment of a border economic cooperation zone and the implementation of the policy on border economic cooperation zones stipulated by No. 21 Letter of the State Council issued in 1992， while continuing to implement the policy on costal economic open areas. The specific location and scope of the border economic cooperation zone shall be examined and approved by the Special Economic Zones Office of the State Council in conjunction with the relevant departments.
