[00:10.97]The grasshopper did nothing else [00:13.61]but jumped around and played. [00:15.46]On the other hand, [00:16.67]the ant was so hardworking, [00:18.95]looking for food all day long [00:21.15]and storing them in its nest. [00:23.02]Looking at his friend working so hard, [00:26.51]the grasshopper asked,” [00:28.05]Hey, Ant! [00:29.13]You don’t have to relax? [00:30.66]Always a busy one. [00:33.41]Come and play with me.” [00:34.81]To that the ant replied, [00:37.56]“I can’t relax. [00:39.18]I have to store all the food.” [00:40.83]“Well! Relax. [00:43.47]Why you bother storing all the food? [00:46.30]When you are hungry just go and find some food,” [00:50.01]the grasshopper told the ant again. [00:52.76]“Eh, I cannot relax. [00:55.59]I have to store food for the coming winter season. [00:58.23]Then I don’t need to panic. [01:00.29]I think you also must store food,” [01:03.16]the ant told his friend. [01:05.21]“If you want to store food, [01:08.07]you go ahead. [01:09.17]I continue playing ok… bye!” [01:10.79]And the grasshopper hopped away. [01:13.98]The ant was a hardworking guy… [01:17.03]I mean insect. [01:18.90]Not like the grasshopper who was so lazy. [01:21.63]And so as days, weeks, months went by, [01:25.58]the winter still has not come yet [01:28.09]but the ant was still seen searching and storing food. [01:31.03]The two friends happened to meet again. [01:34.55]“Hey Ant! [01:35.84]You still haven’t finished storing food, ah? [01:38.70]Last time where did all the food go?” [01:41.20]asked grasshopper. [01:43.40]“I kept it but it all went bad. [01:46.12]So I cannot eat it anymore. [01:47.77]All because the winter has not come yet. [01:50.52] Now I have to go and look for new food,” [01:53.13]sighed the ant. [01:54.45]“But ant, you don’t mind if I ask you? [01:57.94]Did you ever think that in Singapore and Malaysia [02:02.42]there is no winter?” [02:03.96]asked the grasshopper again. [02:06.27]“AHHHH?!” [02:08.55]The ant was shocked! [02:10.86]The moral of the story is whatever you do better think properly first. [02:15.23]Sometimes we go too busily in life [02:17.84]and follow our routine too tightly [02:20.26]but most importantly, [02:21.89]work towards where you want to go in your life, [02:24.53]make clear what it is that you want, [02:26.94]what it is that you REALLY want, [02:28.78]what your dream is, [02:30.21]and whether what you are doing is now moving towards your dream. [02:34.26]If it’s not, [02:35.35]don’t just keep on working hard only just [02:38.30]because someone in your life told you that this is the way! [02:41.16]Don’t keep on working hard with no direction. [02:44.32]Focus on the direction of your life, [02:47.06]not your work but your life. [02:48.90]Plan your life. |
