You do know that it's knowledge of fact that most lawyer's wives die of boredom? Bridget: What about you? Still shagging anything that moves? Cleaver: As a matter of fact, no. No shagging whatsoever. Cleaver: I'm trying... to be a better man, Bridget, so that the next time a better woman comes along, I won't make a pig's ear of it. 妙词佳句，活学活用 1． Life is on track. 生活步入正轨，没有其他的烦心事了，这时就可以用这句话：Life is on track. 2． Back off 离开的意思。英国人比较喜欢说这个词，但是它和get out 是有区别的。get out指的是出去，或者更气愤一点时，指的是滚。但是back off更多是指离我远点。 3． Make a pig's ear of it 这是英国人喜欢用的一种不正式的表达方式，意思是"做错某事"。而在此句当中，I won't make a pig's ear of it. 指的就是我不会再做错事了。 |
