碧昂斯拒演《美女与野兽》,原因也在情理之中
The Beauty and the Beast remake starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, which was released earlier this year, was magical enough to begin with, but could you imagine what it would've been like if Beyoncé was in it? The film's director Bill Condon, who worked with Queen Bey for Dreamgirls in 2006, recently revealed that he had the superstar in mind for the Disney reboot —as the French-speaking feather duster Plumette. "I even tried to get her into Beauty and the Beast, but it wasn’t a big enough part," he told Yahoo Entertainment last week. "She would have been a good feather duster." (Ultimately, British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw played the role of Plumette.) Turning down a too-small role seems understandable for someone with as much star power as Beyoncé. (Besides, isn't she more lead role material?) But that wasn't the only chance she'll star in Disney's live-action remakes. Bey is also reportedly in talks to voice Nala in The Lion King and is rumored to be producing the soundtrack for the film. If confirmed, this could be one of Disney's most epic movies yet. |
