别人首先会注意到你哪一点?
In 2003 I had a serious skydiving accident while at university and broke my spine, pelvis and both heels. The only thing that works miracles is smiling. My mother, who passed away shortly after my skydiving accident, always used to say “smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone”. So what do people notice about me? That I smile a lot. My height I am short. About 5′4 last time I checked. This tends to provoke only a few reactions. My facial scar. I forget that I have it right on my face and that it is the first thing that most people see. I see it everyday and been well-adjusted as normal, but I’ve heard that it’s far from ordinary. My body and face! The second thing they probably ask themselves is, “How old is she?” My hair. It’s incredibly long and ridiculously thick and wavy. I, uh, haven’t had a haircut in a while. Usually my voice. I have quite a distinctive voice. Deep compared to what most seem to expect, and due to several moves my accent isn't tied to any location. |
