多家航司恢复热食供应
Carriers relaunch in-flight meals More Chinese carriers have introduced better complimentary in-flight meals in their economy classes, part of their latest approaches to attract more passengers after being negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the outbreak of the contagion earlier this year, most domestic airlines suspended their in-flight hot food services. Now, as the epidemic gets under control in China, airlines are working on resuming and expanding their food offerings onboard. Hainan Airlines fully resumed offering hot food in the air since mid-July. This month, the carrier further upgraded its in-flight meals and introduced new dishes for both business class and economy class passengers. Air China resumed hot food service at the beginning of this month for its flights that connect major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Wuhan and Hangzhou. Meanwhile, the carrier has improved its set meals in taste, ingredients and designs for economy class after collecting feedback. |
