Rodents and Insects

commis: What is the problem?
        What is the matter (1) ?
        What is wrong (2) ?

chef:   There are (3) rodents in the kitchen.
There are rats in the kitchen.
There are mice (4) in the kitchen.
There are insects in the kitchen.
There are cockroaches in the kitchen.
There are flies in the kitchen.

commis: What shall I do ?

chef:    Poison them (5).      (ordents and insects)
        Kill them (6) .        (rodents and insects)
        Trap them (7) .        (rodents)
        Spray them (8) .       (insects)

Notes:

(1) “What it the matter?”   “怎么啦？” “出了什么事？”
(2) “What is wrong?”      “出了什么毛病？” “出了什么错”？
(3) “There are ”           某地方有……
(4) “mice”               是老鼠mouse的复数形式
(5)(6)(7)(8)都是祈使句，表示请求，命令。
