中国共产党第十九届中央委员会第五次全体会议于10月26日至29日在北京召开。全会审议通过了《中共中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展第十四个五年规划和二〇三五年远景目标的建议》。

The fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee held in Beijing from October 26 to 29 adopted the Party leadership's proposals for formulating the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035.

“十四五”时期是我国全面建成小康社会、实现第一个百年奋斗目标之后，乘势而上开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程、向第二个百年奋斗目标进军的第一个五年，我国将进入新发展阶段。我们要着眼长远、把握大势，开门问策、集思广益，研究新情况、作出新规划。

Building on the achievement of finishing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and achieving the first centenary goal, the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) will mark the first five years of China's new journey toward fully building a modern socialist country and march toward the second centenary goal, from now on China's development will enter a new stage. We should adopt a long-term perspective, grasping the trend of the times and extensively pooling wisdom to study new circumstances and make new plans.
