1 get cut off掉线

cut off是中断的意思，切断电话、断电和断网都可以用cut表示，get cut off就是掉线了，停电可以说power cut。

2 The Internet was down. 断网了。

The Internet dropped. 网络断了。

“网断了”的英文很简单，既可以用down，也可以说drop。上述两个句子里的Internet可以替换成connection。
