过去将来进行时用在独立句中

过去将来进行时在英语语法学习中，还有一个很特别的用法，就是它可以用在独立的句子中，例如：
1.The car started. Ellen James would be driving off to the university.
车子发动了。埃伦·詹姆斯要开车到大学去。

2.Jack said he had found a job. He would be working as a bartender in Detroit.

3.I was excited. Next Wednesday we would be flying to Sydney.
