Draw for women's world cup to be unveiled

The 16 women's World Cup finalists have to wait for two more days before discovering which teams they are set to face in the group stage as the draw will be held on April 22 at Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province.

According to the basic draw principles finalized by soccer's world governing body FIFA, host China will occupy position 1 in Group D, while reigning world champion Germany on the top in Group A.

The United States and Norway, first and third in the current FIFA world rankings, have also been seeded. The draw will determine the group in which they are placed (B or C) respectively.

No group may contain more than one team from the same confederation except the European confederation, which can have a maximum of two teams in the same group.

The women's World Cup will run from Sept. 10-30 in the Chinese cities of Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin and Wuhan
