China beat Canada 2-1 in women's soccer friendly
NANJING -- One goal each from Han Duan and Ji Ting helped Chinese women's soccer team beat visiting Canadian squad 2-1 in a friendly match on Sunday. It is the second consecutive victory since Swede Domanski-Lyfors was appointed head coach of Chinese team. Chinese girls defeated Canada 3-1 in their first friendly last Thursday. In the match on Sunday, Han Duan opened the scoring with a header for the host four mintues into the game and Ji Ting made it 2-0 after 17 minutes. And at the 29th minute, Matheson Diana had a fierce shot and found the net for the visitors. The Chinese team will leave for Hangzhou on Monday and play two friendlies with South Korea in the city. |
