Montreal is the second largest city in Canada. It has a population of less than three million. It is also the world's second largest Frensh-Speaking city. It has been the cultural center of Canada for more than two centuries. In the past ten years, many Chinese, Jewish and Italian have moved here.

Montreal is an international leader in art. St. Catherine is the main downtown shopping street. Montreal is also host to the sorld's largest flower exhibition. It is held every year. There are many theaters, museums, a lot of places of historic interest, and beautiful parks in the city. People enjoy skiing and skating in winter and picnic and jog in summer.
