贝嫂发布第二支美妆视频,遭网民炮轰
Victoria Beckham recently released her second make-up collection with beauty giant Estee Lauder. But she came in for criticism on Thursday when her appearance on This Morning to promote the new range was cruelly mocked on Twitter. The 42-year-old playfully demonstrated her favourite make-up look in a pre-filmed clip on the ITV show - but the appearance caused a stir among viewers, who were quick to poke fun at her presenting skills. The mother-of-four made an exclusive appearance on the show from her own Dovert Street store, to give a cosmetics tutorial on creating a 'strong, smoky, sexy eye, and a nude lip'. The clip saw Victoria, clad in a vibrant red blouse and her own cosmetics, show viewers how to achieve the same look at home, as well as providing a number of beauty tips along the way. The famous fashion designer gave insight into her own life during the segment - telling them she has a nude lipstick in every single handbag, as it is a fail-safe look for every occasion, before advising women of every age to use a primer. She also taught viewers how to apply the tricky trends of nude-coloured and powdered eyeliner, before demonstrating her beloved natural lip. The brunette even joked that she had once wanted to call 999 during a photo shoot, when she realised her make-up artist Wendy had left her nude lip liner at home. Many cruel trolls blasted the star as 'boring' and 'wooden', with one kicking things off by writing: 'VB is such a natural presenter... said no one ever'. A further fan even advised her to stay away from presenting in the future, writing in a subtle dig: 'VB don't give up your day job, whatever that is.' Meanwhile a selection of other viewers were quick to note her appearance, and vented their concern for her health and well-being. However, a number of fans were full of praise for the former Spice Girl as a fashion icon, and called for her to appear more on television. Further viewers firmly stood up for the designer against trolls, and vented their anger at the unfair abuse on social media. |
