好莱坞一线明星齐发声!联合抵制性骚扰
Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, and Nicole Kidman united as they led a star-studded pledge to speak up against sexual assault, as accusations of misconduct continue to be leveled against men in positions of power. 'I will not be silent,' was the promise made by Jennifer, Emma, Nicole, and a slew of other celebrities in a video. Gal Gadot, Margot Robbie, Jessica Chastain, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mary J. Blige were among the stars to band together in lending their support in the video. The video began with Nicole speaking towards her audience, 'I will not be silent.' Andrew Garfield, Caroline Wolff, Daniel Kaluuya, Daniel Vega, Diane Kruger, Grace Van Patten, Hong Chau, Michelle Williams, Robert Pattinson, Salma Hayek, Saoirse Ronan, and Timothee Chalamet were also among those to lend their voices in the pledge. Just months ago, scandal erupted when numerous women accused producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault - an event that led to a number of other allegations of misconduct to be leveled at powerful men in Hollywood, news, and government. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer recalled her experience working with Harvey, explaining she was sickened to learn of the crimes he has been accused of. Jennifer said there needed to be 'social change. Men need more social awareness.' Gal, meanwhile, has made no secret of her desire to spark change in Hollywood as well. The actress stars as Wonder Woman, and has revealed she will not return to her role in the sequel if producer Brett Ratner, who has also been accused of sexual misconduct, is connected to the follow-up. Nicole also showed her support for those coming forward in a statement after allegations against Harvey emerged. |
