According to Ctrip, one of the most popular ticket-booking websites in China, many "love hotels" had reported full occupancy by January end - two weeks before February 14, which is celebrated Valentine's Day. 

据中国最流行的票务预订网站携程网指出，很多“情侣酒店”在一月底，也就是2月14日情人节前两周就已经被抢空。

情侣酒店（love hotel）流行于各国各大都市，为情侣及夫妻提供了私密空间（private couple time），受到年轻夫妻和情侣的喜爱。一般有多种主题，如新婚之夜（wedding night）、海底世界（undersea world）等等。韩国也称love hotel为love motel（爱情旅馆）。
