get an inbox 私聊

The term "get an inbox" is derived from the expression "get a room." When couples constantly leave romantic, mushy or suggestive messages on each other's Facebook wall for everyone else to see, someone else may tell them to "get an inbox already" and carry on in private.

Get an inbox这个说法是由短语get a room衍生而来的（get a room什么意思我们稍后再说）。假设你社交网站的朋友圈里有两人是一对儿，他们成天在对方的微博、朋友圈里留下各种浪漫、肉麻，或者颇具暗示意味的信息，而这些留言圈里的朋友都能看到。于是，有人就会给他们留言说“你们还是私聊吧”，这样在私密的空间里，他们就可以继续肉麻聊天了。
