Anchorperson: The animals are said to have suffered a mild seasickness, but now are back to eating the finest calf's liver.

Garfield: Oh, boy. Must be sweet. My tummy's upset. May I have some liver? Boy, I wish Jon was a queen.

Garfield: Okay, blockhead, time to bust out of here and catch up with Jon. First, let's grab some chow, before I eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Sorry, we left a bit of mess in the bath room. Thanks.

Guard: Attention!

Garfield: Hey, Odie, look, it's those royal corgis. Hey, lady, you got any leftover liver? Stuck-up little punk. Oh, I know she heard us. They had the top down. Odie? Odie? D'uh-oh! Odie, no! 1. Grab some chow

Chow 的意思是“food，esp. hearty dishes or a meal”，grab 的意思是“拿东西”，那grab some chow就是“找点好东西吃吃”的意思了。例如：I'm starving. Let's grab some chow.

2. Chianti
A dry red table wine made from a blend of different varieties of grapes, originally produced in northwest Italy. Chianti是个地名，是一个老的意大利葡萄酒产区，位于Tuscany，那里出产的酒普通质量的装在一种有藤编的大肚子瓶里，质量好的则是装在波尔多形瓶里。

Chianti有7个子产区，其中Chianti Classico最有名，还有Chianti Ruffina，Chianti Montalbano, Chianti Colli Fiorentini, Chianti Colli Senesi, Chianti Colline Pisane和Chianti Colli Arezzo。当然其他的某些产区不会出现在酒标上。

酿造Chianti用的主力葡萄是Sangiovese，当然也有的加入了其他的葡萄如Cabernet Sauvignon等，但是通常的比例不会超过10%。

Chianti酒一般较酸，好酒要在瓶中经过5～6年的藏酿才能达到适饮期。好的Chianti为红宝石色具有浓郁的果香和花香，口感圆润，层次感强。标有“Reserva”的Chianti经过3年的熟成是无疑的好酒。

3. Crack up

这里的意思是“动一下，笑一下”。Crack up 还可以表示“无法控制地大笑”，例如：That story about the revolving door really cracked me up. Ed cracked up, too, when he heard it.

4. Freeze-frame

我们常常说“定格”一个画面，freeze-frame 就是“定格”的意思。这个词可以引申来指“静止不动的场景或形象”。

5. Dry Goods

在这里，Dry Goods可不是什么好话，dry goods = nuts = testicles，因为Garfield 之前刚说了警卫：your zipper's down.

6. Stuck-up little punk

Stuck-up 指的是那些“自以为比别人好/强的人”，little punk 指的是“讨人嫌的人（主要是讨你的嫌）”，所以Stuck-up little punk 翻译过来就是“自以为是的讨人嫌的家伙”。

7. Ugly-American thing
