3月6日，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在参加全国政协医药卫生界教育界联组会时强调，要着力构建优质均衡的基本公共教育服务体系，建设高质量教育体系。

President Xi Jinping on March 6 stressed giving priority to building a high-quality and balanced basic public education service system and a high-quality education system. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when he joined national political advisers from education, medical and health sectors in a joint group meeting.

要围绕建设高质量教育体系，以教育评价改革为牵引，统筹推进育人方式、办学模式、管理体制、保障机制改革。

To build a high-quality education system, the reform of the evaluation system should be in the lead, so as to push forward reforms in other aspects of education including educational modes, the running of schools, management systems and safeguard mechanisms.
