Barclays Bank and Agricultural Bank of China
On March 30, special Commissioner of the Economic and Commercial Councillor's Office of Chinese Embassy in UK participated the seminar held by Barclays and was told that the Barclays Bank and Agricultural Bank of China came to a cooperation agreement in Beijing in the first ten-day period of March. According to the agreement, clients of Barclays Bank could enjoy the all-round service of Agricultural Bank of China and the Agreement satisfied the increasing requirement of financial service of the clients when launched business in China. Barclays Bank set up the agency in Beijing and Shanghai at the beginning of the 90's, and announced the establishment of the first branch in Shanghai on Dec. 21, 2005, and business in China in 2005 was up by 30%. As one of the 4 big state-owned commercial banks, Agricultural Bank of China had more than 31000 offices spreading over the country and became the favorable partner of Barclays Bank |
