Wei Jianguo Holding Talks With DIC Minister of Tunis
Vice Minister Wei Jianguo held talks with Mr. Mohamed Jouini, Minister for Development and International Cooperation of Tunis, who visited China on March 27, and his party. The two sides reviewed the situation of Sino-Tunis Economic and Trade Cooperation and exchanged views on further enhancement of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Mr. Wei Jianguo said that China highly stressed the bilateral trade and economic cooperation relations with Tunis. Tunis was the important cooperation partner of China in trade and economy, the two countries made great progress in cooperation of trade, science, technology and investment. Tunis is an African country and also a Arabian country, Mr. Wei Jiangguo hoped that China and Tunis could strengthen cooperation on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and win-win under the framework of Sino-African and Sino-Arab trade and economic cooperation, and could research cooperation mode under new trend to further exploit the potential of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, promote balanced development of bilateral trade and gradual deepening of economic cooperation. Jouini extended his thanks to China for the assistance provided to Tunis in infrastructure construction and financial cooperation for a long-term. He said that China and Tunis had great potential to cooperate and hoped that the two countries could enhance the multi-layered cooperation between governments, industries and enterprises, and reinforce the friendly cooperation relations.
