❶ “That's/It's（very）+（表示人的性格特征和行为表现的）形容词+of sb.（to

do sth.）”的意思是“某人（做某事）是……的”，形容词如kind（好）、

smart（聪明）、stupid（笨）、careless（粗心）等都可以使用，例如：It's

smart of you to bring extra food to the picnic.（这次野餐你多带了些吃的来，

真是太聪明了。）

❷ “treat sb. to sth.”是“款待某人某物（食物等）”的意思，例如：I treated Mom

to lunch.（我请妈妈吃了午饭。）

❸ “order in”的意思是“叫外卖（送饭上门）”，例如：I think I'll stay home

tonight, order in a pizza.（我想我今天晚上就呆在家里了，叫一份外卖比萨来

吃。）

❹ “look forward to”意为“期待，盼望”，这里的“to”是介词，后面可以接名
