Chan Kwok-Ming won the title of the 2007 Hong Kong Open snooker tournament by beating Chen Hon-Kwan 4-2 on Tuesday.

Chan Kwok-Ming won the first frame in the best-of-7-frame final and took the third and fourth frame to leave himself needing one more to take the title.

Chan Hon-Kwan fought back in the fifth frame by winning 55-52, but Chan Kwok-Ming, who won the men's single bronze medal in 2002 Asian Games, proved his superb experience in the tournament after outplaying Chan Hon-Kwan in the sixth frame and won the final frame 50-12.

In the third place play-off played early on Tuesday, Au Chi-Wai claimed the victory by beating Au Tsing-Bei 4-2
